Because we embroider every item by hand for every order that's placed, we can only accept returns or exchanges for damaged or defective items. If you place an order and have a change of heart, get in touch with us as quickly as you can, and if we haven't begun working on your sweater we'll cancel the order and issue a refund.

We set out to make the perfect sweater. To us that means it can be worn for just about any occasion, it's personalized for you (or the person you're giving it to), and it's made from the perfect material. We think that material is cashmere. It's unbelievably soft, breathable, light, and snuggly - one of those little luxuries that, once you've worn it, is tough to go back to anything else.

Cashmere requires a little more attention than other materials, and pilling (generally caused by friction) is 100% expected. Fortunately our sweaters are made of long, strong fibers and will only pill one time as they naturally shed some of the shorter bits. Just brush gently with a cashmere brush the first few times you wear it, and you'll be good to go.

Don't put it in the wash! Cashmere, like many high-quality materials, doesn't like powerful detergents or high heat. When it's time to clean your sweater, we recommend soaking with water and plain old baby shampoo. Let it sit for up to 30 minutes, then roll the sweater up in a bath towel to get the moisture out, and lay flat to dry.

We know that in today's world, most of the clothes you order will arrive within 24 hours. But since we embroider everything by hand (with lots of love) it usually takes us 1-2 weeks to complete an order, plus an additional few days to ship. Most orders will arrive in 2-3 weeks. For "Make a Statement" orders, it may take a little longer since we also create a custom design for each sweater. We will do our best to have it to your door within 3 weeks, but we'll get in touch if we think it could take longer.

We source our cashmere from a partner company that is deeply committed to humane treatment of animals, fair compensation and working conditions for the people who raise and care for them, and investment in the land and communities that underpin it all.

By the way, we also use sustainable packaging: Our sweaters ship in plant-based, compostable mailers, and even our stickers are printed with soy-based ink on paper sourced from sustainable forests.

We'll put just about anything under 20 characters on a sweater - we're all about self-expression, after all. But we draw the line when a statement is in direct conflict with our values. We won't embroider phrases that are disrespectful toward women; disparage sustainability, animals, or the environment; or are generally mean, hateful, or exclusionary in any way. This policy extends to the names and slogans of people and organizations who promote these attitudes. And of course we can't use trademarked phrases without the express permission of the holder.
